EDIT: I wrote this all before the 2010 season XD

Tony Romo Quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. <3

I've been a cowboys fan since I was 4 or 5, my favorite is Roger Staubach, but Romo is my Generation, and I'll give it to him, he's a pretty good Quarterback. Though, he gets alot of crap from Cowboy haters and Cowboy fans. Media likes to scrutinize every little mistake nowadays and not focus on all the good points.

Tony Romo is a great athlete, he's quick, and his off balance throw is almost always in-tune with the field. And in a tight situation, he finds a way out.

This is probably the most detailed picture I've ever done. I dunno what I was thinking, but I found such a beautiful reference of him playing in the snow, though this Portrait is a mash-up of 2 different references, The face is from another picture entirely, I wanted to show off one of Romo's main characteristics, His smile. He is always smiling! He's like an 8 year old boy who just learned he got to be the Quarterback for the Cowboys! He's got such a great energy and a passion for the game.

While I prefer "Roger the Doger" who could break a leg and still run like a cheetah and not cry about it later, I also appreciate the emotional passion Romo takes into the game. He takes losing pretty hard, but that just means he's going to try that much harder to improve and keep his team emotionally and physically in the game.

Overall this picture took me longer than any other, the exact amount of time, I have no clue. But I can estimate;

Basic Sketch, Boxing out (to make sure it matched up perfectly with the photo), and re-outlining : 5 hours
Both Shoulders: 2 hours
Both Sleaves: 2 Hours
Rest of the Jersey: 1 1/2 hours (all the mesh takes forever)
Pants: 2 hours
Both Hands: 2 1/2 hours
Face: 5 hours
Helmet: 4 hours
Background: 1 hour
Football: 45 minutes
Detailing: 2 hours

So a bit over 24 hours. and about 3-4 days total.

Haha well I'm a Californian who has been a Dallas fan since I was 5. But I like all teams. Well besides the Giants. I'm one of the few people who didn't end up a fan of my hometown team or whatever my parents liked. I got to find my team on my own. :D

But I do like the 49ers and the Chargers quite a bit. But man the Oakland Raiders, you're a Californian, you must know what I mean. XD

Seeing as we moved as small kids, my brother grew up with my dad's hometown team the Browns. He loves the Browns all my house does, they are mainly depressed during the football season because of their fandom :XD:. Needless to say my brother was pissed yesterday seeing as both his teams lost yesterday...bad.

Oh totally...Raiders fans friggin scare the crap out of me.
