The Incredible Hulk -Crayola Crayon- by DJCoulz The Incredible Hulk -Crayola Crayon- by DJCoulz
Black Sharpie and Crayola Crayons.
Alot of this got cut off cause my scanners so tiny...

So I'm sure most of you guys know by now that my all time favorite super hero ever is The Batman. But when I was around 4-5 years old, before I knew who the Batman was, Basically all the tv I watched was cheesy live action 70's shows. And the first 2 tv shows I watched as a kid were "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Incredible Hulk" Then started watching stuff like The A-Team, All in the Family, and Cheers, but the first shows I ever remember were those two.

So when I was a toddler the coolest guys in the world to me were Steven Austin, and The Hulk. Those shows were so bad and total cheese fests, but I LOVED them, still love those shows. And to this day I LOVE Lee Majors and especially Lou Ferrigno. So when I heard he was going to voice the Hulk (not Bruce Banner) in the new Avengers I was SOOOOOO FUCKING HAPPY. Cause I loved the Hulk show as a kid, but as soon as I discovered Batman, I stopped caring about any other super hero. And during my lifetime The Hulk has never really been that cool to me. Specially the movies, but Once I found out the new Hulk in Avengers was going to actually be the Ferrigster again, I was so effing excited. The Ferrigno will always be THE Hulk to me. He's just so much of that character now and he's just such a cool sweet dude. I  Lou Ferrigno.

Anyways, Avengers, I loved it! The way they did Hulk in the Avengers has moved him back up to my favorites just like he was when I was 5. So now he's second only to Batman. XD Now I'm not going to go on about the Avengers, since it's JUST as good as ALLLLLLLLL the hype it's getting and if you don't go see it in the theaters, well that will be one of the biggest regrets of your life. Everyone was amazing, it's one of the best movies ever ( I don't throw that around lightly) and it's just a great movie. And It made me feel like a kid again falling in love with the big giant green badass on the screen.

So yeah, since my tablet is still borked, I haven't been drawing much, but a new one is on the way so no worries. And I really don't care for drawing on paper that much, but I ended up drinking like a whole pot of coffee before bed so I stayed up all night and decided I wanted to sketch the hulk. So I busted out the Sharpies and went to town. Then I decided I may as well throw some color on it with Crayolas, since you guys know how much I love Crayons. XD I didn't even scan the outlines first, I figured if I ruined it, so be it. So Yeah, I'm glad it turned out so nice, I haven't done such extreme colors or shading with Crayons yet so it was tons of fun figuring it out. And actually it was easier than the crayon portraits I've done since it's hard to find the dull real colors rather than these crazy colors. Also this isn't the Avengers hulk, he's like a mix between that one and a bit of Ferrigno, just to be different.

But yeah lots of fun, I hope you guys like it. & GO SEE AVENGERS FFS! Iron Man and Thor are my favorite avengers. But Batman and Hulk are now top dogs for me as far as all hero's go.

Also if you guys missed my journal, I got a tumblr now and I'm liking it quite a bit. Feel free to follow me, I'm post all my stuff there. I really appreciate it! :D [link]

Ok, I have to admit, I have never seen such amazing skills with crayolas before, especially not with sharpies thrown in for good measure. Outstanding and very dramatic to be sure!!!! You simply ROCK!!!!!! And THIS is no bs. This is a whole new level of inspiration. I get so caught up in envy, jealousy, admiration, and intimidation at you and all those who can make the computer sing like crazy, that I sometimes forget that amazing things can still be done with good old pencil and paper, and other materials if one puts one's mind and heart to it.

I do agree with you on The Avengers movie. It was INCREDIBLY AWESOME!!! :D And Yes, I do too recommend that it should be seen at least once in the theater. It works so well there. I even saw it in 3-D and that actually worked very, very well throughout the whole movie. I can't say enough good words about The Avengers. Totally worth the wait!!!! :)
