For those Arley fan girls (and boys, I know you're out there XD) who felt a disturbance in the force alittle while ago, this is why. ARLEY'S HAIR HAS BEEN CUT. D8

NUUUUUUUUUUUUU not his gorgeous hair! Ah well, did you guys think he could always get away with his long messy hair in the Navy? Nah, this is him first going into the Navy (he looks about 17) and after his first flat top haircut. He looks like Howie Long! XDDD Of course once WWII broke out he was able to get away with his long hair, more because hair cuts and uniform regulations were the least of their worries.

Yeah, basically I drew this because I've come to the realization that I need to cut all my hair off. ;< A. It's getting very hard running with 4 ft of hair and B. I just know it won't make it through boot-camp.

Basically I CAN have any length hair in the Navy, but if it's longer than collar length I have to have it pulled back neatly in a bun, but at boot camp you only have a few minutes to get ready, and buns take atleast a minute, I originally thought I would just get a quick bun things and I would be okay, but I'm pretty sure when we line up to get hair cuts, even if I can put it up quickly someone will just cut it out of spite, and I don't want some crabby woman giving me the WORST hair cut in the world. And truth be told it will just be easier.

And again, I don't usually care about my hair, I had short hair my whole life up until 3 years ago. I even had a mo-hawk back a few years ago. But I spent 3 years growing it past my butt. And it's very pretty (Cherokee genes, naturally thick black hair) and now it's all going. Plus I'm going to probably be in engineer gear for the next 4 years, and no time for make-up so adding the short hair I'm going to look super dykey, which I'm not excited for. :/

I wish I was a guy! I'd just flat top it and be DONE. Which is why I drew Arley. He doesn't care at all, don't get me wrong, he loves his hair, but not enough to get his panties in a bind over it being cut. And besides he looks cute anyways. XD

When I went to boot, everyone got the snip snip. :c ....Ah well, it grew back.

Anyways, yay Arley! He looks odd, yet in standards with out the *adorable* duckbutt hair. Though, as a recruit I'd imagine a more disgruntled expression on him.
