DJ Coulz Suit Tutorial: BASICS by DJCoulz DJ Coulz Suit Tutorial: BASICS by DJCoulz
HOLY POOP! I can't believe I finished this today. I finally looked at the clock and it's almost 3 in the morning! XD Please, ignore spelling error's I have dyslexia so my hands like to make me look bad hahaha. I will fix any errors in the morning.

I hope this is helpful to some, it's basically how to construct a suit and how a tailor would put together a suit for someone custom. I got alot of my information from the wonderful book "Dressing the Man: Mastering the Art of Permanent Fashion" Which includes more information than most tailors today know about. This is stuff that every tailor in the 1930's would know (infact even the poorest of man knew how to color coordinate his suit, and even what season he was since every magazine for men helped them figure it out.) It use to be common knowledge back then. Now even tailors at suit stores today don't know half of this.

Now a days I can't watch tv without spotting someone in an ill-fitting suit and it makes me crazy xD Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Feel free to use it as a guideline or whatever, or just enjoy if it's not what you draw XD

UPDATE:
.__. I got a DD? :la: OMG, that is amazing, THANK YOU SO MUCH :iconsennd: YOU CRAZY BASTARD! And thank you :iconshelldevil: for featuring me! I really don't know what to say guys, thanks! Let's re-dress our mens!

What is your suggestion for an older, pale-skinned man? Hair has gone to white-grey, eye color is a pale green. So almost no contrast in the face.

Low contrast. So either like [link] or [link]

Did that book have info on stuff besides formal wear in it by any chance?

Mostly formal wear, socks, ties, tennis clothes, polo outfits, golfing clothes. All the unformal wear was pretty old school dressy.
