Arley not only likes to Sew, cook, and paint. He also likes to take care of his roses.
And yes, I special ordered my own Henry Fonda Hybrid Roses, and have a planter of them in my own yard.

Skip's not to amused though. He runs one of those old run down, Irish pubs, and he's owned it almost all his life. It's always looked shabby and un-kept. But now that he's taken in Arley, a few things have changed. (Arley's like the daughter he never had, hahaha)
Remember he lives in the old billiard room(down that back hallway across from the bathroom) in the back of Skip's pub in the 1940's. Skip lives above the bar. And when Arley's not off sailing, he's helping Skip run and keep up the bar. Which is great for Arley since he's a drunk, free drinks.
Arley ended up at Skip's pub after one night, being on leave from the Navy, and drinking all night and running up a tab that probably could have started the great depression. So, Skip decided to give the penniless sailor a place to stay and a job, and Arley would try to work off that tab. So he just works for free, and gets free drink and board. And Skip has someone to bitch about the "kids these days" and how the countries going down the tube.
Skip is also the only one who knows that Arley is gay. So while he would normally lump homosexuality in the same group as all the other stuff he complains about, all the devils work effecting the youth and country. He's come to like Arley and really care about him, and he's now sensitive to Arley's situation. It's funny to because Arley only ever acts this gay around Skip, no one else see's him like this.
Also, I seriously drew all the fucking bottles on the shelves behind Skip, and hid the layer before saving, and now I deleted the original PSD file. and I'm NOT re-drawing all those bottles for a silly comic. Just pretend they are invisible booze bottles.
Not to mention how much heavier his dead weight is. XD
My favorite flowers are roses, I love any man that thinks the same!
Hahaha he'd be amazed by them.
